How long have you been in business?

Distraction Gymea has been a local identity for 17 years. We launched our website in 2021 and hope you enjoy it!

Where are you based?

We have a retail store located in Gymea, Sydney.

Is there a contact number if I have questions?

Yes, during business hours you can contact us at (02) 9525 2535.

Can I visit Distraction in person?

Yes, our address is 84 Gymea Bay Road, Gymea.

Where can I find my order information?

You can find your order history by logging to our website using either your distraction.com.au account or Facebook & Google Social logins if you made an order using that account during checkout.

Your order details would have also been sent to your email address at the completion of the checkout process.

What if I need to change my order?

Please call our team on (02) 95252535 and we will do our best to accommodate your request

What if the product I want is not available?

We have a wider range of goods in store, and may be able to order products that are out of stock. Call us at (02)95252535 and we will be glad to help.

How do I add a coupon to my order?

At the Shopping Cart

The Coupon Code entry box is located at the bottom right of the screen, below the ‘Proceed to Checkout’ button.

At the Checkout

The Coupon Code entry box is located at the top of the page, above ‘Billing Details’.

Do you accept returns/exchanges?

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.If you believe a product purchased from us is damaged, faulty or unsafe or is not of acceptable quality, fit for the specified purpose or does not match the description given to the product, you may return it to us within a reasonable period after purchase. In the unlikely event that your item arrives damaged or faulty, you must also notify us as soon as possible.

Do you allow refunds for change of mind?

We can offer exchange or store credit for change of mind if returned unused, still in it’s original packaging and within 14 days.

How do I process a return/exchange?

We are happy to assist you in our Gymea store, otherwise please contact us at (02)95252535 during business hours and we will try to assist. Please note, if the item is not returned in store there may be costs associated with return post.

Where do you ship to?

We currently only ship within Australia.

Where are your packages shipped from?

We ship from our retail store in Gymea, NSW.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently do not ship internationally, but if you are interested please contact us at jo@distraction.com.au and let us know!

How much does shipping cost?

We offer a $15 flat rate for shipping across Australia. Large items may incur additional cost.

Do you offer free in store pickup?

Yes we do, select the option at checkout.

How do I track my shipment?

We will send tracking details to your email once your shipment has been sent.

What payment methods do you accept?

We currently accept all major credit card. If there as another payment method you would be interested in using, please reach out to us at jo@distraction.com.au and we will do our best to accommodate!

When do I make payment?

Payment must be made at the time of sale.

Do you offer lay-bys?

We offer lay-bys at our retail store, but unfortunately do not currently have the facility to offer this service online.

What payment gateway do you use?

We use Stripe as our payment gateway. For more information visit https://stripe.com/en-au

How secure is your payment gateway?

Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. To accomplish this, Stripe uses the best-in-class security tools and practices to maintain a high level of security.

Can I use my Distraction Giftcard online?

Unfortunately we do not currently have the facility for Distraction Giftcards to be used online. However, if you give us a call at (02)95252535 we can process your giftcard transactions over the phone.

How do I create an account?

You can create a distraction.com.au by selecting the ‘LOGIN / REGISTER’ section at the top of our webpage and following the prompts. You can also create and account using your Facebook or Google account for added security.

Can I create an account using Facebook or Google?

Yes, we offer both Facebook and Google Social Login as a facility to create and manage your distraction.com.au account.

How do I delete my account?

Please reach out to jo@distraction.com.au and we will facilitate the deletion of your account from distraction.com.au.
